The tropical savanna is home to many animals.
• Thompsons gazelle, (eudorcas thompsonii)
• Hartebeest, (alcelaphus buselapus)
• Cape buffalo, (Syncerus caffer)
• Wart hog, (phacocoerus africanus)
• Zebra, (equus burchellii)
Most of the animals here in the savanna live without competing for food so some of them don’t have to kill each other for food. This means higher population of the animals. This factor plays in for when you go on a safari- you are more likely to see more and cooler animals.
